To celebrate its second year of existence, Darco Magazine organizes in partnership with Jofebar (celebration of 25 years) Congress of Architecture "AICO - Architecture at Oporto International Congress" to be held at the Congress Centre of Customs of the Port from the next two Mondays, Aug. 30.
The congress is divided into two parts: Main Activity (series of conferences with presentation of work done and in progress for over more than 30 architectural offices, national and international) and Parallel Activities (AICO award, workshops, exhibitions, parties and guided tours).
THE HOUSE OF ARCHITECTURE will be present, as a partner of the event in the field of parallel activities, particularly in view of an exhibition in the caverns of the Customs and institutional support to guided tours. The exhibition will present an exhibition of models belonging to the architects that have so far signed contracts for the transfer of the collections with the HOUSE OF ARCHITECTURE: Eduardo Souto Moura, Adalberto Dias, Gonçalo Byrne, Alvaro Siza, Pulido Valente, ARX - Nuno and José Mateus, Aires Mateus, João Álvaro Rocha, Jorge Gigante, Jose Gigante. As for visits, will be held every day from 9h to 13h, and on days 2 and 4 include a visit to our facilities at Casa Roberto Ivens. Please be advised that we will be on site throughout the event so you can find us with the exposure.
